Project Assistants, Inc. and C/S Solutions, Inc. Announce Partnership

WILMINGTON, DE – December 1, 2005 – Building on their success at NARA, C/S Solutions, Inc. and Project Assistants, Inc. have joined forces to provide a comprehensive Earned Value Management (EVM) solution. This solution integrates C/S Solutions’ tools wInsight and Project Connect with Microsoft® Project, allowing federal agencies and their contractors to meet the required OMB300 standards.

In speaking of the effort, Ira Harley, Sr. Program Manager at National Archives, remarked: “The National Archives and Records Administration – Electronic Records Archives (ERA) Program is successfully implementing Earned Value Management in accordance with the Electronic Industries Association/American National Standards Institute (EIA/ANSI)-748A standard. The NARA Automated Program Management Tools, called ‘PROMT’, has been advantageous in efficiently managing multiple integrated baselines in a real time, performance management environment from the conceptual phase through the development phases of the ERA Program’s life cycle.”

“With our combined twenty plus years experience in Enterprise Project Management (EPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM), C/S Solutions and Project Assistants are well positioned to repeat our NARA success at other federal agencies,” commented Gary Troop, President of C/S Solutions.

NARA chose Project Assistants and C/S Solutions to ensure the ANSI-748A standard was met and to improve the organization’s Portfolio Management, Enterprise Management, and Project Knowledge Management processes. Because of this joint EVM implementation at NARA, the agency has successfully passed its three most recent evaluation cycles.

In executing the agreement, Gus Cicala, President of Project Assistants, remarked: “Right now it is vital for federal agencies to build a concrete roadmap to define their EVM structure. This partnership allows us to assist IT project planning and execution initiatives, which in turn will lead to improved ratings on the President’s Management Agenda scorecard. Project Assistants’ significant project management expertise combined with a solid technology framework that fully integrates the Microsoft® EPM technology platform with the extended EVM capabilities of C/S Solutions’ wInsight Technology will provide significant value to the unique business management needs of each federal agency.”
