Drug Development Project Manager: Springhouse, PA

Project Assistants has an immediate need for a Drug Development Project Manager for an initial 6 month contract assignment (with strong potential of extension) in Springhouse, PA.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a core member of the Clinical Team, lead the operational execution of drug development projects within Clinical Pharmacology for biologics, ensuring alignment between stakeholders regarding resources and deliveries.  Use Critical Chain project management to drive rapid completion of critical project deliverables.  Develop and maintain functional project plans that enable proactive identification and resolution of issues preventing successful deliveries and effective resource management.  Collaborate with scientific personnel to manage operational aspects of outsourced studies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with pharmacy R&D project management (ideally in clinical or toxicology areas)
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Solid understanding of critical chain project management preferred
  • PMP preferred

Entry Level Recruiter – Wilmington, DE

We are currently seeking a recruiter to lead our efforts to identify, screen, interview and follow-up with project management consulting candidates for our staff augmentation line of business. Typical recruiting activities will include the following:

• Sourcing candidates using Project Assistants’ Taleo recruiting system, Monster.com and other job boards, and via social networking sites. Sourcing is expected to be supported by:
o Email inquiries and follow-up
o Phone inquiries and follow-up screening
o Face-to-face interviews
• Attending local project management and technical networking events to proactively recruit project management professionals
• Scheduling phone and follow-up interviews for candidates by phone, Skype and face-to-face
• Keeping detailed records in Project Assistants’ Taleo recruiting system
• Supporting sales follow-up activities with Project Assistants business development team
• Developing and maintaining an up-to-date list of “Top 5” candidates for all Project Assistants key project management target position areas

Preferred Skills and Education
• Ability to review candidate resumes and experience to match to Project Assistants job requirements descriptions
• Good interpersonal communication skills (written and oral)
• Ability to work independently with a portion of work completed at personal home office
• Must be outgoing and self-motivated with a strong desired to excel
• Must have strong time-management skills and ability to multitask and maintain focus and discipline
• Experience with Taleo is a plus
• 4-year college degree preferred (human resource focus is a plus)
• Willingness to wear multiple hats in a small company environment

Compensation/Benefits
• Base salary of $20,000-$30,000
• Incentive plan based on successful placement of candidate in billable consulting engagements

Senior Project Management Consultant Washington, DC; Philadelphia, PA; at large

Project Assistants has ongoing needs for Senior Project Management Consultants. These consultants typically work both remotely and at client sites. Travel to client sites is generally required.

Knowledge and Skills:

In depth knowledge of all aspects of project management and systems integration including task definition, planning and scheduling, staff planning and management, hardware/software resource planning, task assignment and tracking, and status reporting.

Demonstrated global, multi-million-dollar program/project management and implementation experience a must. Expert level user of Microsoft Project and Project Server (Microsoft EPM) a definite must. PMP certification (or equivalent certification) is a plus.
